I know we’re a little late on this one, and that there are by this point many, many reviews out there in the blogosphere, but just incase you missed them, I cannot recommend this album enough.
It’s so consistent in the way that MGMT’s debut really wasn’t, and more euphoric and exciting than you could imagine. The Chunk of Change EP was good slash very good, but this is better. It has a kids choir, amazing synths & samples… as if I need to sell it to you anyway.
If you haven’t already done so, check it the fuck out. And the EP too. Thanks to the joys of technology, if you have Spotify going on then the album is here and the EP is here.
Plus don’t forget; our albums of 2009 (the first half anyway) can be found here, with links to our reviews of the said albums.
