Why they didn’t announce this on the 21st I don’t know, but it’s great to report that The Rapture have finished a new album and it’s called In The Grace Of Your Love.
I woke up to Don Go Do It, the first track off their 2006 album Pieces Of The People We Love every day for my first day of Uni, and whilst that album did have some weaker spots it was only because they had to stand up against the likes of The Devil, Get Myself Into It and Whoo! Alright-Yeah… Uh Huh.
The tracklisting for the soon to be released album on DFA Records (Uh Huh!) is as follows:

Such a great band with a beautiful version of what is probably my track of 2010;

I can’t find much about BASTILLE but I really like this song a lot, as far as I can tell it’s a one person project that is currently readying a live band for some gigging. More info when we get it.
A nice pop song with harmonies and some good production, what more could you want? (Answer: nothing).

Here’s another one for 2011, Fiction with Big Things. I apologise to all these bands we’re now hyping that have existed and been writing songs for many years, but it’s easy for us lazy folks (read: me) to suggest you deserve to be listened to this year rather than pretend we’ve been following you since day one. Breton, GROUPLOVE and Fiction I like your music though and that’s all that matters. Here’s a vid…
