Yes, everyone’s talking about it, but it’s big news. Jacko is back, playing some (supposed) farewell shows in that big mobile phone sponsored tent in London. Of course we know why he’s doing it, (money) but why should we go?

And why do I want do see him? I’ve barely listened to him… he’s not even in my top 50 on Last.fm! For me I guess it’s the desire to see what it’s all about, as this is the last chance.

His fans are properly, properly mental, and so to see some of them in the flesh will be worth the £50 alone. And regardless of how good MJ himself is on the night, it will no doubt be a pretty spectacular and equally ridiculous show. He’s got an unrivaled back catalogue of hits, but whether or not he’ll actually be singing them is to be seen… like whether I’ll actually be able to get a ticket after talking myself into trying for the past week.
