RELEASES ROUND-UP - Lightspeed Champion & Good Shoes

Just a short post about a couple of record announcements. First up Lightspeed Champion will be releasing Marlene, along with a few b-sides, on January 25th. Dev’s been playing this song live for well over a year now, so it’s good to see it finally get a proper release ahead of his as-yet-untitled second album.

In other news, Good Shoes will release No Hope, No Future the week before, on the 18th. Their second album is set to feature ten tracks, and given the brevity of most Good Shoes songs we’d be surprised if it went over the 30-minute mark. Still, a short album is better than nothing and here’s hoping for a record which is not just short but sweet too. You can download album opener The Way My Heart Beats free from the bands website.
