LOS CAMPESINOS! - ROMANCE IS BORING

“It is a record about the death and decay of the human body, sex, lost love, mental breakdown, football and, ultimately, that there probably isn’t a light at the end of the tunnel.”

I’m a huge fan of Los Campesinos! and I’ve been looking forward to their third album for a while now, so I’m very pleased to be able to announce that the wait is very nearly over! Yes, earlier this evening a post on the LC! blog revealed that the new album will be released on February 1st and will be entitled Romance Is Boring.

The tracklisting has also been announced, and the titles alone are getting me excited. Looks like it’s set to feature sequels to both Documented Minor Emotional Breakdown #1 and the excellent Heart Swells/Pacific Daylight Time, and there’s a song called A Heat Rash In The Shape Of The Show Me State; with a name like that it’s got to be good, right?

Full tracklisting below…

That’s 15 (15!!) tracks in total, including the previously released The Sea Is A Good Place… and current single There Are Listed Buildings. If the rest of the album is as good as those two, it’s gonna be fucking epic.
