Shoes And Socks Off - I’m A World Class Assassin

Toby Hayes, frontman with the sadly defunct Meet Me In St Louis has been forging a promising solo career (under the name Shoes And Socks Off) since the demise of his former band, recording his first album with two mics, a battered acoustic and a chest of drawers for a seat.

His first offering, From The Muddy Banks of  Melitzer, was (obviously) a very stripped down affair, but thanks to those kind people at BSM records I have a copy of an old song that has been re-recorded for his upcoming second album Hand Reared Suburban Piglet.

This version of I’m A World Class Assassin has been fleshed out with drums and strings and overall sounds more accomplished, kinda like Get Cape Wear Cape Fly, but better. Enjoy :o)
