A CRYPTIC MESSAGE FROM LOS CAMPESINOS!

BUT WHAT DOES IT MEAN?!?
Here’s some theories…
First of all, the “Heat Rash” and map of Missouri refer to the Romance is Boring song “A Heat Rash in the Shape of the Show Me State; or, Letters From Me To Charlotte” (obviously)
So, I hope it’s not something so mundane as the release of that song as a single. I mean, it’s a good song but why the mystery?
More popular theories in the LC! blog’s comment section are…
A new E.P? Or, in the style of WAB, WAD, a new E.E.P?
A new album? But then why the reference to a song from their last one?
A tour doc or live DVD of some sort? Seems unlikely given Gareth’s previous assertion that their shows are “of the moment”.
Or, as some are saying, simply an announcement that they’re going to be playing a show in Missouri, which again I don’t think they’d make this much fuss about.
Read more theories here, but this announcement is further proof of why I love this band. They’ve already released an album and an acoustic EP this year, and now they’re got more tricks up their collective sleeve. Whatever it turns out to be, I’m bound to love it.
