RX Bandits - Bring Our Children Home Or Everything Is Nothing
Thanks to those kind people at ReverbNation and Sargeant House (kiss kiss) I got my hands on a copy of the final track from the upcoming RX Bandits album ‘Mandala’.
After hearing only two tracks from this album it is clear that despite losing the last member of their brass section they have managed to progress even further than 2006’s ‘…And The Battle Begun’ managed to (I’m sure it should be ‘began’ but who am I to quibble with their grammar?).
Having started out as a pretty standard ska band all those years ago, RX Bandits have managed to progress over the space of 6 albums into a band that defies genre. Clearly influenced by time spent working with side projects such as The Sound Of Animals Fighting, new track ‘Bring Our Children Home Or Everything Is Nothing’ offers a scaled-down, more rock-oriented sound than previous releases.
New album ‘Mandala’ is out on July 28th through Sargeant House and Mash Down Babylon Records.
